The Burlington-Edison School District is seeking qualified applicants to fill a school board vacancy after the resignation of District #3 Director Holly Nielsen, which was announced on September 23, 2024. Per Board Policy 1114, the remaining board members will appoint a qualified person to serve until the next scheduled General Election on November 5, 2025. The appointed board member will have the opportunity to register as a candidate to serve the remainder of the District #3 Director’s term, which ends in December 2027. Applicants interested in serving must reside in the Director District #3. Burlington-Edison Sports Medicine is hosting a sports physical night at Burlington-Edison High school’s athletic office. Proliance Surgeons Mount Vernon Clinic physicians will be completing these physicals. This is not only for potential athletes in B-ESD, but anyone who is in need of a yearly sports physical. This will occur on June 4th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. The physicals will cost $10 for pre-registration and $15 for walk-ins . | Burlington-Edison Sports Medicine está patrocinando una noche de examen físico en la oficina atlética de Burlington-Edison High School. Los médicos de la clínica Proliance Surgeons de Mount Vernon completarán estos exámenes físicos.
