Burlington-Edison School District is part of the Public Schools Emergency Communication System (PSECS) also known as FlashAlert. When route changes are necessary, FlashAlert is first to be updated followed by our BESD Hotline at (360) 542-3420. This recording will be updated by 6:00 AM with any transportation changes.
“CLOSED” or “SCHOOLS CLOSED” means that all schools in the Burlington-Edison School District #100 will not be in session for that day.
“SCHOOL OPEN - LIMITED TRANSPORTATION” means that transportation will be revised or canceled as needed.
“SCHOOL OPEN - TWO HOURS LATE – means schools and transportation will run 2-hours later than normal start times. This will normally include Snow Routes as listed. Students will be dismissed at the regular time unless otherwise announced.
